TLC4Dog's innovative training programs will improve your dog's behavior in any situation. 

In addition to the standard obedience skilss like "sit, stay, down, come, heel" commands, your pet will be taught not to jump up or destroy furniture, the yard or other items.  They will also be taught handling skills, including "settle" and leash exercises, as well as simulation exercises (proofing done for children, vets, & groomers).

TLC's Doggie Camp is a natural and realistic form of training away from your home.  Your pets will stay at my home -- not a kennel -- with a fenced in yard and a pool.  Dogs are able to run, swim, train and play.

A large home on the property serves as the realistic training zone. Pets are trained essentially 24 hours a day, since doggie camp is our living quarters. They will also be worked several hours out in public, at stores, plazas, vets, and cafes before they return home. When they are not working, they will be enjoying new friends in the yard. The average stay at DoggieCamp is 3-4 weeks.

We have strict requirements:

•  All dogs have all vaccinations, internal (worms) and external (fleas & ticks) parasite control.
•  A non-refundable deposit on tuition to enroll.

Camp includes private lessons with you and your family (on tape for our "out of the area" clients) going over your dog's training, reviewing the patterned and replacement behaviors we have set up at camp and to "train you" what they have learned and how to talk and understand "dog."  Doggie Camp also includes a lifetime membership to our Saturday training classes and is a requirement for future boarding at our facility.

Private Instruction

Three lesson package - In your pet's own environment and many options for public locations to work on dog's social skills. All three lessons must be scheduled and completed within 30 calendar days from first lesson. Upon completion of three lesson package single sessions can added one at a time.
3-Lesson Package - $500

Single session - Tailored training in your home or on-site. This instructional program is customized around what you would like to accomplish with your dog.
Private Instruction Single session - $250

Group Classes

Entry level program – Recommended for everyone with a new puppy or dog. This seven-week course focuses on teaching you and your dog leash skills, socialization with other dogs, basic commands and obedience skills. It’s an excellent starting point for new owners. We generally follow up classes by meeting for coffee which is a great way to socialize your pup. Saturday 10am at Nancy Bush Park.

Refresher classes – A great way to tune your dogs bag of tricks. This ongoing course focuses on refreshing the skills already learned at Doggie Camp. Obedience and leash skills, Recofirming socialization, extending your dogs reportoire of commands. It’s a great for seasoned vets and fresh Saturday mornings at Nancy Bush Park. Free Lifetime Refresher Classes to all DoggieCamp graduates.
